About Teaching Grace
Teaching Grace was founded by a retired Jackson Public Schools teacher and dedicated Deaconess with over 30 years of experience serving her students, her church, and her community in Jackson, MS. She's also the mother of both a nurse entrepreneur and first responder, both of Jackson. Janie also helped rear her God Daughter and 2 other Nieces who now serve as an educator entrepreneur, ER Physician & RN Nurse /Nurse Instructor. Her compassionate teachings and grace filled walk left long lasting impressions & impact on them all. Through many years of guiding young minds and shepherding hearts, she learned that grace — God’s grace — is the thread that ties together our calling to teach, serve, and uplift others.
