My Story:  

Hi, I’m Maci, creator of The Body Fix Co.

For years, I struggled with obesity, PCOS, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. As a Black woman and a Mississippi pediatric nurse, I knew firsthand how hard it is to find self-care tools that truly work for plus-size bodies—and how isolating it can feel to fight these health & physical challenges alone.

Determined to change my life, I developed Bodied Brew Herbs, my signature blend of all-natural ingredients to support metabolism, reduce inflammation, and balance hormones. Alongside intentional movement, intermittent fasting, and my size-inclusive sauna gear, I lost over 100 pounds naturally—without prescribed weight loss medications,  trends or surgeries.

I founded The Body Fix Co. to help other women, especially Black women and plus-size women, reclaim their confidence and their health. My mission is simple: to create affordable, high-quality tools that empower you to look your best, feel your best, and know you are worthy of radical self-love.

Who We Are

The Body Fix Co. was created by Maci, a Black Mississippi pediatric nurse who lost 100 pounds naturally while healing from PCOS and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. We are a team of primarily plus-size, passionate individuals on our own wellness journeys, dedicated to helping others—especially Black women and plus-size customers—feel seen, supported, and motivated to achieve their health goals without shame or judgment.
