My Story
Hi, I’m Maci — LPN, mom, and creator of The Body Fix Co®.
For years, I struggled with obesity, PCOS, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. As a Black woman and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Mississippi — the most obese state in the U.S. — I saw firsthand how few size-inclusive options existed, and how isolating it felt to face these challenges alone.
Determined to change my life, I created my own path to healing: faith, intermittent fasting, intentional movement, journaling, and natural herbal blends I call Bodied Brew Herbs. Alongside my size-inclusive sauna gear, I lost over 100 pounds naturally — without weight loss surgeries, injections, or quick-fix trends.
That journey gave me the courage to create The Body Fix Co® — so other women, especially Black women and plus-size women, never have to feel invisible in the wellness space again.

Who We Are
The Body Fix Co® was founded by Maci — a Black Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who lost 100 pounds naturally while healing from PCOS and Hashimoto’s.
Our team is made up of passionate, primarily plus-size individuals on their own wellness journeys — here to make sure you feel seen, supported, and never judged.
